Davis Window and Door recently replaced all of the windows (11) in our 1970's era home and the experience was exceptional and we definitely would recommend them. The initial consultation was quite informative and we never felt pushed into any particular product. They beat out 7, yes 7, estimates not because they were necessarily the cheapest (middle of the pack based solely on price), but because they offered the best value given the our climate and particular aesthetic. The lead time was as predicted. The install was promptly scheduled once the windows were on hand. Ezzy and his crew removed the original aluminum clad windows with a purpose. The debris was well contained and cleared as they moved from window to window. It was impressive to watch them work in unison without wasted time or energy. They did it all with very little disruption to our daily lives which included working from home on the second day. There was some miscommunication about capping (something we wanted to avoid) the windows on the non brick portions of our home. Ezzy listened to the concerns showed us alternatives and Robert showed up on for a consultation before we agreed on a solution that maintains the integrity of both the product and our home. A job well done

Good company to deal with Fair pricing 33 windows that were 44 years old were replaced Bruno and his installation crew were great. Did not do a rush job. Great clean up afterwards Unfortunately 4 windows were delivered with some manufacturing defects Bruno reported reported these defects immediately to Davis who then reported to manufacture and replacements are coming. Unless there is some ongoing problems with the replacements windows I strongly recommend this company Follow up-it took a couple of weeks for the manufacturer to produce the replacement windows. this was expected and not a problem. As soon at Davis got the replacement windows in they called me and sent out an installer to replace the parts. In my opinion this was great customer service. we are also having issues with our 30 year old main entry door and will be calling Davis first about a replacment.

Love the new doors, excellent quality, great price and the installers were very precise and professional. Will definately use Davis again in the future.

This is the second set of windows I have had installed by Davis. Both times have been a good experience. In a world of contractor's that do not return calls, don't arrive on time, etc., it is refreshing to have a good experience with a contractor. There were two minor details that I had missed that needed addressing after the installation. They sent someone out quickly to fix them and they were done in about 30 minutes. Davis has been around for 50 years, so I feel comfortable they will be around should I ever need warranty work.

I have had only good experiences with Davis Window & Door (DWD). They installed our sliding deck door a few years ago and today, our back door. The installer, Nicholas and his assistant were very competent, professional and caring. They took their time to ensure a correct fit and that all details were correctly installed. I recommend DWD without reservation. Their prices are very competitive and they are willing to go the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction.

Excellent installation with exceptional detail to preventing water intrusion. Davis Window & Door expertly replaced 33 leaking windows that were installed one ago, ensuring they adhered to the highest industry standards, building codes and passed 2 seperate state inspectors' scrupulous inspections. They were professional, respectful, cleaning as they moved throughout the house, and never used aggressive sales tactics. The price they quoted was the same on day one as when they finished. Roger, Robert, Mondo and his crew went above and beyond my expectations! I will definitely contact them for any future projects. If quality is your priority and you care about what is done behind the drywall and siding, you'll be hard-pressed to find anyone better! They cared about the integrity of my home as if it were their own. I'm forever grateful!!!

Davis Window & Door just replaced 16 windows & doors in my house and I must say, the experience was quick (2 days), efficient, clean, & stress free. The windows all look great. We had all (30) windows replaced over 3 days with very little disruption to our daily routine. Surprisingly quiet and fast getting the windows in and out. They spent a long time caulking and making sure the molding was just right. Jim Reichling was very helpful in finding ways to help us save money - going gridless, making a 3 piece window with pallidian into one long window, etc. We chose Restoration series (middle quality) and are pleasantly surprised with the quality, how nice they look, the ease in which they open and how they tilt to easily clean. Davis windows rep many manufacturers of windows so it’s one stop shopping with multiple levels of quality and price points. My photo is during install phase.

We loved our experience with Davis Window from the sales person to the project team to the installation team. Everyone was very helpful and responsive with all of our questions. We ordered the Marvin Elevate line and absolutely LOVE them in our house. We had our old 1953 wood windows replaced in our brick home and the installation team was GREAT! We've had plenty of work done with different crews on our old house and this installation team was the best crew to work with. They were VERY thorough, took their time, payed attention to every small detail and cleaned up like they were never there. It looks incredible and I would highly recommend this company.

The folks at Davis were fantastic work with. We were replacing a bunch of Weather Shield windows with Marvin Elevate series. Jim was our rep ad made it all easy. Plan early as delivery from Marvin can take a while but once the Davis instal crew gets them in hand it goes quick and the inside and outside of our very custom home links like these were there since the beginning.

If you want quality work done by professionals use Davis Window & Door. We had our double front exterior doors replaced and 3 large, fixed bay windows. Our home is +20 years old. There can be issues when replacing an older home W&D, as we did. But DWD took the time to resolve the issues. You won't hear them say "that's good enough."

This the second project that Davis Window & Door has done for us. Once again, they did not disappoint. Would use again, but I don't have any more windows or doors.

We are happy with our new windows installed by Davis Windows. The process was pretty easy. The only negative worth mentioning is that the process took longer than we expected. Some of this was due to non-standard windows that we have and also because of weather issues, but it was still longer than we were first told. Overall, still happy and would recommend Davis Windows because everyone we interacted with was very good.

Great door. Installers were very professional and answered our questions. The door trim on the inside did not match the door and they called to get some painted to match the door.

Davis did a fantastic job of installing my new front door. From start to finish there were no issues or concerns. The rep came on time to the appointment and discussed/explained all my options. After 25 years in our 1965 ranch house, we decided to (finally) replace all the original, single-pane, aluminum-frame, slider windows, as well as four, large, fixed-pane, picture windows, a basement patio door, and two, full-size, basement doors. We opted for Marvin Essential style fiberglass windows, which offer a pre-finish that matches our brick home’s trim perfectly. The two new basement doors that replace the original wooden ones are metal for extra security and durability. Davis’ experienced installation crew of three did an excellent job removing the original windows and doors, and installing the new ones, in an efficient, methodical manner. Using drop cloths, they kept our house clean during the project, and they vacuumed and swept at the end of each day. Planning our renovation, visiting Davis’ showroom was very helpful to our understanding of the options available to us and selecting the solution best for our needs and budget. Their sales person who visited our home helped us finalize our order, budget and schedule. Next, their pre-construction manager came to our house take final measurements to help ensure proper sizing and finishing materials. We highly recommend Davis for your window and/or door replacement project for their attention to detail and customer satisfaction throughout the entire process of the project.

My new doors leak and because I've paid the bill already they won't send send someone to correct the faulty install. I question the number of positive reviews given my outcome with the company.

Wish I could put negative stars Davis Window And Door is a complete waste of time&money Do Not call these people. Unless you just wanna waste your energy-they said they could fix my door made me sign a bunch of paperwork give thousands of dollars down and then over 8 months later after coming out multiple times and measuring. Different people coming out to measure and even the project manager had been at my house with the crew before the final day when someone from the crew asked me if they said the door would fit!! Then they said they’re not able to do the job even after the door had been shipped from the manufacturer at first apparently the manufacturer Sent the wrong door even though it had been at their warehouse for weeks, but nobody cared to open it and look. Then after at least 20 phone calls from me the correct one was sent, and they were about to drill into my aluminum frame, they said I don’t think it’s gonna work. Total BS

The crew was prompt, professional & polite. They finished our job in 2 days & the windows look great. We’re very happy with Davis!

Bobby was great with the initial appointment for getting a quote, follow up, and all through the process. He was very straight forward with any problems or issues that might come up in a project like this. The installation crew was professional and did a wonderful job with the installation. The door is fiberglass and all the associated parts installed are either synthetic or heavily weatherproofed. This door gets beat on by sun and rain, so this was very important to us. We have a decorative piece over the door and Bobby and his staff were able to determine that it could be saved. This required a change notice to the original quote (money saved for us) which went smoothly. Keeping that piece makes the door look much more attractive than it would have been without it. Our only disappointment is that Bobby's supervisor would not let their crew paint the decorative piece over the door to match the new trim color. Something about liability issues if we weren't happy with the color. We would have gladly signed a waiver, but he refused to let the crew paint it. Now we have to get up on a ladder and paint it ourselves. My wife and I are both in our 70s, but don't want the additional expense of getting a painter out to do a few minutes of work, so we will have to do it ourselves. As I said, this is disappointing. Otherwise, we are very happy with the door and the whole process.

Fair price and quality install

Victor arrived early with his help and got started right away. We have 7 new windows in our family room and eating area. Then they started on the front door and windows. It turned out just like I wanted it. Thank you so much.

The installers sent to our house did a great job with the actual install. I asked questions while they were working out of curiosity and they answered them as they went. They cleaned everything up to do with the doors and debris caused by the two doors being installed. They took care to make sure the caulking didn't look like trash around the frames, and were diligent in making sure the French doors were even with each other. Overall they did an excellent job. My main issue is with the scheduler who sent us a verification email about date and time of install. When email states 9am, I expect installers at roughly that time. Not a 9a-11a window that was given to us when we called to ask when the installers were actually coming at 950a install day. When you have multiple fosters and rescues that need to be kept in closed quarters to allow the installers to do what they need, more precise communication about timing is important. Rescues don't do well in small confined areas for 10+hrs a day. On a side note, I cringed and internally screamed everytime the installers walked through my mud pit of a backyard, through the back door being replaced, over my hard woods and white area rug to get to the front doors, which were also being replaced. Maybe give your installers shoe covers, or at the very least, provide them with those large brown paper rolls with tape. That way they can cover the floor in which they plan on walking on. I didn't enjoy cleaning up muddy/dusty shoe prints.

We are on our third window and door project with Davis and could not be more pleased. Our Rep, Kurt took the time to explain all the details of the complex window project we had before us. We settled on Marvin Essential windows. When selecting a window company, you must focus on their experience, reputation, and the quality of their products and service. For us, Davis Window & Door has the unsurpassed reputation we required. From the beginning, we were told that our windows would take an extended production time to be manufactured and ultimately installed. We planned our project accordingly and were patient. (the customer must supply patience when windows and doors are involved). We also know that this is remodeling and construction. Delays will happen, trash and debris may be created and folks you’ve never met before will come to your home. The process was frictionless from the close of the deal to Jason coming out to take detailed measurements, make calculations all the way to the actual install day. Davis Window & Door has an elite team of installers; our team was Nicholas and Alfredo. They treated our home as if it was their own, protecting everything that was not part of installation. They even made friends with our pup! Sophie approved. Is this an expensive process? yes. Might you have to wait for your product to arrive? yes. Will there be some construction, trash and debris? yes. (They will leave the job spotless) Will you increase the value of your home? Yes. Will you recoup your investment? Yes-almost $.75 for every dollar you spend. We are pleased with our Marvin Essential windows and Provia door. Nick and Alfredo spent three days painstakingly installing, customizing the sash and trim work. The even cleaned every window inside and out. Ours were 6’wide x 7’ tall!! The entire team, Kurt, Jason, Robert, Nicholas and Alfredo could not have been more professional, kind, respectful of our home and project. We will shout from the mountain top the much deserved praise for Davis Window & Door. Highly recommended

We had a very disappointing experience with this company regarding a project that involved sliding glass door,which took six months to complete!!!!!Initially, everything seemed promising during the consultation with Bobby Lee, the project design consultant. He came to our home, took measurements, and we were set on using a specific company known for their doors, Western. My husband and I were simply looking for someone to handle the order and installation. Bobby assured us that the project would be completed within three months and demonstrated a good understanding of the timeline. When it came time to sign the paperwork, we made sure to clarify the door's opening direction, and Bobby reassured us it would open correctly. After patiently waiting for two and a half months, installation day arrived, only to find that the door opened in the opposite direction!!!!!Bobby never reached out to apologize or address the issue. We had a full day of workmen at our house installing a door that didn’t meet our expectations, which was incredibly frustrating. Following that, we faced additional delays while rearranging our room to accommodate the sliding door. When the correct parts finally arrived 5 weeks later,the crew came back to our home to take the door off and reinstall it upside down . However, the heavy glass and frame caused problems, and the doors did not slide smoothly. We had to wait again for parts to be ordered to fix it We invested $20,000 in this project and reached out to the owner, Mauricio, to express our disappointment. Shockingly, he offered us a $100 discount—an insult given the circumstances. The only positive aspect of this experience was the installation team, who were patient and knowledgeable, for which we are grateful. However, I wish we had chosen a different company for this project.

Professionally experience all the way with Davis got a quotation excepted it put down the deposit window was ordered. I checked on the window at approximately the lead time. They said they set up an appointment to come out showed up the same day on time installers courteous prep the area Removed the Palladian window in the front put back the new one cleaned it all up. We are satisfied.

I recommend Davis Window & Door as a good value. It's helpful nonetheless to know something about their priorities to discern if they're a good fit for you. From sales to installation, my experience with Davis Window & Door was great. Ken found the window that best met my needs, didn’t try to upsell me, and patiently answered my questions. Robert was efficient and courteous in remeasurement. Finally, Ezzy and his crew were focused and diligent, not only finishing ahead of schedule but willing to go above and beyond the scope of their work. After the crew left, I discovered a couple of problems (and created one myself by opening a window incorrectly). Ezzy was back within 48 hours to address the problems (missing parts from the manufacturer) and show me both the mistake I made and how to correct it. You've probably heard a version of the saying, "Everyone wants the work done well, quickly, and inexpensively—pick two." Davis prioritizes quality and value, sacrificing speed for the sake of efficiency. From my first contact with them in March, it has taken 6 months for all the issues (minor though they were) to be resolved. Of course, some of the responsibility lies with the manufacturer. With just a bit more humanity, this company could have earned a 5-star review from me. Does it take that much time to look a someone's first name so that you don't need to address an email with "Dear Mr(s)..."? Could a scheduler wait more than five minutes after leaving a voicemail before sending an email with "I tried calling you..."? Davis Window & Door is a good company. With a bit more personal attention, they might become a great one.

Windows are beautiful! Bobby (salesman) went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted. We are in phase 1, we replaced 13 windows. We will definitely start phase 2 soon. Crew that installed the windows did a great job. Windows came quicker than we expected. All in all a reputable company. Davis windows were not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. Fair price for what was installed.We are very pleased.

Our windows (Marvin Essentials) were installed by Davis last week and we LOVE them. We could immediately tell improvements in noise level and insulation. We’d initially been worried about the increased frame size of replacement windows, but it’s not really noticeable at all. I must also say that the entire Davis Windows team was wonderful throughout the process, starting with Kurt Deegan who walked us through the process and answered our questions patiently. The installation team, led by Victor, were lovely to work with. In addition to doing a great job with the install they treated our home with real respect. It couldn’t have gone better. Everything they did was very professional and the project turned out flawlessly. And, of course, the door etc exceeded our expectations. With the assistance of our salesman and the office staff we believed we made the right choice in the door and glass and color - but u really don’t know until after the install is finished. Replacement of all windows with vinyl double-hung with pocket installation and capping. Beginning to end truly exceeded my expectations. Bobby with sales was educational with no pressure, scheduling and communication were excellent, and the installation crew worked diligently to do the job right the first time. Install crew consisted of a team of friendly guys, and they constantly cleaned up debris so work areas were always clean. Extremely happy with the final result, the capping looks great and truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Davis!
